Richard's diving experience extends from the Canadian Army since 1972. In the last 38 years and with over 10,000 logged dives, he has lived and worked at many major dive destinations around the world. His last 23 years as an international instructor, he has been a PADI Master Instructor for last 18 years.

Richard continues to show his high level of enthusiasm for diver education and still loves to share his passion for diving and the underwater environment with his students. His hard work and professionalism together with his entertaining personal style is often reported by his customers to the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.

PADI has awarded Richard with three Certificates of Recognition of Excellence and he has received no less than 11 complimentary letters from the PADI Quality Assurance Department.
