We
are now offering a completely different style of combined
"Day Sail & Sunset Dinner Cruise" out to the Phi Phi
Islands and Hidden beach on the one of island on the way back
to Phuket in spacious comfort other than the usual Phuket
based ferry or speed boat snorkeling and sightseeing tours.
We have privately chartered a motor/sail for these special
tours and she is a 29 meter ( 93 feet ) newly built Indonesian
motor/sail vessel with links to a thousand years of sailing
history. She is a traditional two masted Bugis Pinsi schooner
carrying mainsail, mizzen, two top sails and up to four foresails.
Completely constructed from iron wood and teak with lots of
generous space above and below decks. There are 4 main sleeping
cabins equipped with private bathrooms and showers and a berth
with 4 built-in bunks for private chartered overnight cruises.
The ship boasts a modern galley below decks where guests are
welcome to watch across from the lounge table as the full
time chef freshly prepares the traditional Thai dishes for
Lunch and Dinner with all meals served by the friendly, English
speaking staff.
The Thai Captain and crew grew up in these islands, know them
intimately and are able to share experiences and unique places
of interest while cruising under sail in comfort to the most
un crowded and beautiful sites they can find for your snorkeling
and swimming pleasure.
There will be no specific locations named to visit at the Phi Phi Islands and this will depend on the weather/water conditions at the time and the Captain will choose a spot that is not overcrowded with the usual tour ferries or speed boat groups. Snorkeling equipment is provided for coral seekers, a dingy to take you to the beach if you like and there is an easy access ladder & shower waiting for you at the rear snorkeling deck when you return to the yacht.
You can pre-book the optional masseuse and relax to soft background
music while you are pampered during your foot, oil or Thai
massage above or below decks. Board games are available for
adults and kids at the low lying, cushioned tables in the
shade, sunbath on the top decks or just lie back sipping a
cold drink, fresh seasonal fruit & enjoy the feeling of
a spacious and finely crafted wooden ship cruising the Islands
and watch the sunset over the Andaman Sea.
